The NR / SBR rubber is made of light natural and styrene-butadiene rubber and is the most commonly used rubber compound for special applications in the food industry. The rubber is released for direct contact with food acc. BgVV XXI (BGA) Category 4, but not fatty foods. The resistance to acetone and alcohol is good.
The medium-hard rubber compound has a hardness of about 65°Shore A and is the usual standard hardness for rubber, comparable to car tires. The best choice for many applications. The rubber compound remains dimensionally stable under pressure over a large area and springs in slightly
