EPDM sponge rubber black square profile adhesives

Product information "EPDM sponge rubber black square profile adhesives"

excellent weather resistance (UV / ozone resistant) & aging resistance (long-lived)

The EPDM sponge rubber consists of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, is a terpolymeric elastomer and is the most commonly used rubber compound for many outdoor applications. The sponge rubber is produced (extruded) in a special process (expansion) into a sponge rubber foam and has a predominantly open-cell structure with a closed outer skin. The rubber compound is characterized by a very good weather resistance and ozone resistance and is extremely durable, due to the very good aging resistance. Resistance to diluted chemicals, acids and alkalis is good.

The sponge rubber is a foam in the commercial hardness or density and adapts under light pressure immediately and very well to uneven surfaces. The good recovery behavior (i.e., the material returns to its original shape) allows for optimal sealing. A compression of the material from 30% to max. 50% before sealing is recommended, with a compression of more than 50% damaging the material structure and greatly reducing the recovery behavior.

EPDM black 30Sh rolls
excellent weather resistance (UV / ozone resistant) & aging resistance (long-lived) The EPDM rubber is made from ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, is a terpolymeric elastomer and is the most widely used rubber compound for many outdoor applications. The rubber is characterized by a very good weather resistance, ozone resistance and temperature resistance (up to + 100 ° C) and is extremely durable, due to the very good aging resistance. Resistance to diluted chemicals, acids and alkalis is good. The very soft rubber compound has a hardness of about 30°Shore A, seals off rough surface (bumps) very well, is very flexible and has a very high tear resistance. Compared with the standard hardness (such as car tires) of about 65°Shore A, this rubber compound is much softer and remains dimensionally stable in the case of large-scale pressure loading, which gives it a noticeable spring effect.

EPDM black 50Sh rolls
excellent weather resistance (UV / ozone resistant) & aging resistance (long-lived) The EPDM rubber is made from ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, is a terpolymeric elastomer and is the most widely used rubber compound for many outdoor applications. The rubber is characterized by a very good weather resistance, ozone resistance and temperature resistance (up to + 100 ° C) and is extremely durable, due to the very good aging resistance. Resistance to diluted chemicals, acids and alkalis is good. The soft rubber compound has a hardness of about 50°Shore A and seals well even on rough surfaces (bumps). Compared to the standard hardness (like car tires) of about 65°Shore A, this rubber compound is a bit softer and remains dimensionally stable even with large pressure loads, but it absorbs a bit of pressure.
